News Roundup - Domestic Violence and Sex Trafficking victims added to definition of special needs for MHDC


Treasurer Zweifel  works to protect Missouri's most vulnerable through his position as a board member of Missouri Housing Development Commission. In April, he requested the commission implement a new policy designed to aid the long-term recovery of domestic violence and sex trafficking survivors. This was successfully added in June. These survivors make up the third largest homeless subpopulation in the state, an estimated 1,200 men, women and children.
